Ah, free agency: the glorious time of the year where—like the NFL Draft—atrocious teams can become sudden contenders.

The NFL’s worst can suddenly become dangerous playoff contenders; the best can lose a key player or two and devastatingly find that they no longer have what it takes to be considered Super Bowl material.

Free agency is a time for NFL teams to improve, prosper and bask in the results of their signings. And every season, several incredibly talented players hit the market. Then, a frenzied bidding war ensues, and the top-bidder is often rewarded with the best athletes.
