Almost every knowledgeable NFL fan knows that the Pro Bowl is nothing more than a popularity contest. Most players are selected based on reputation and name recognition alone. Every year, fantastic players get snubbed, while less deserving players are chosen. Keep in mind that the votes consist of 1/3 player votes, 1/3 fan votes, and 1/3 coaches and NFL personnel votes. However, the main culprits in these poor selections are often the uneducated fans, and the biased players. The poor choice of players, as well as the meaningless of the game itself makes the Pro Bowl a complete joke. (Featured Image: Photo by Hannah Foslien/Getty Images)
